A Message from the College Board

In fall 2012, educators will begin teaching the second group of courses — AP Biology, AP Latin, and AP Spanish Literature and Culture — to emerge from the AP course redesign process. This process results in many improvements for AP courses, including the publication of a curriculum framework, which points out the 21st-century skills at the core of the revised exam.

The engaging, hands-on learning promoted by the redesigned courses can help students develop the ability to think critically, construct solid arguments, and see many sides of an issue — skills that prepare them for college and beyond.
