From School to Homeschool: Should You Recommend Homeschool for your Gifted Child? 0

Book reviews from parents of gifted children recommend From School to Homeschool: Should You Recommend Homeschool for your Gifted Child? by Suki Wessling. Here’s what they had to say about it:

Very informative book. Easy to read. Has a lot of information for parents who are thinking about homeschooling or for parents who already homeschool and want to find more information. The book describes different ways of homeschooling, touching every aspect of transition from the traditional schooling to homeschooling, while explaining the pros and cons of the process. Book is full of references to  web sites, support groups, books, and homeschool programs. If you are not homeschooling yet you will be ready and willing after reading this book!

The title of this book is misleading because it is helpful in two ways. It definitely could help someone decide whether or not to homeschool. It also is a really wonderful resource for people who  have been homeschooling already. I already had decided to homeschool before I read the book but was still feeling rather lost and this book gave me many places to go for answers. It is also nice to see a book geared specifically to gifted children and homeschooling.
